Simple Columnar Epithelium

Type: Epithelium

Looks like: talls cells lined up with round like nuclei.  Some with cilia and/or goblet cells.

Function: absorption.  Secretion (and movement of mucus: ciliated) of mucus & enzymes.

 Location: mostly in digestive tract, excretory ducts of glands, (ciliated) in the lining of the  uterus,
