Recticular Connective Tissue

Type: Loose Connective Tissue
Looks like: dark tree like branch (reticular fibers) with purple round shaped leaves (white blood cells)  in winter.

Function: forms a soft skeleton (stroma)  to support lymphoid organs: like the spleen, lymph nodes and red blood marrow.  Also supports the mast  and white blood cells.

Location: like said above, the Lymphoid organs.
