Type: Dense Connective Tissue

Looks like: wavy lines (collagen fibers) all going the same way with very flat oval like spots through out the tissue (nuclei of fibroblasts)

Function: attaches: bones to bones, bones to muscle; can withstand great amount of stress when pulling force is applied.

Location: Tendons, most ligaments, aponeuroses .
